When I was 22 I was selected to compete in an international Karate tournament in Japan. Prior to departing I sustained a back injury and used Acupuncture to heal and enable me to compete. This inspired me to embark on a 4 year Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine course at the London Academy of Oriental medicine and then further study at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduating in 1997 with licentiates in both Acupuncture and Oriental Herbal Medicine.  

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. 

A predominant focus of my work has been in fertility, gynaecology and obstetrics. Through this focus I have attended many further courses and spent three years working with renowned fertility specialist Zita West at her London clinic; gaining a wealth of experience which has helped me guide many couples on their quest to conceive and start a family, either naturally or alongside traditional assisted fertility programmes. 

Over the years I have helped all age groups and have treated a broad spectrum of diseases and imbalances of the body, mind and spirit. For clients who are in pain suffering from physical and sports injury, my martial arts and fitness background gives me useful insight and therefore much success in their treatment. I am a strong advocate of using Acupuncture and its complementary healing modalities alongside western medicine to optimise client treatment, general wellbeing and longevity and my philosophy is to always continue learning.

I have studied multiple courses since qualifying in 1997, most recently further advanced fertility treatment and gynaecology with Naava Carmen and facial rejuvenating Acupuncture and Gua Sha massage therapy. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, keeping fit, reading and listening to podcasts on nutrition and all health related topics. I have two sons and love my vocation of being able to help others.
